My learning line begins at Primary School where i was not interested in learning and more than anything looked forward to "hometime". However i did participate in Art Club after school a number of times before deciding i didn't like it and participating in our yearly school plays, twice playing an important role.
The move to Secondary School was one that i was looking forward to, and dreading at the same time. It turned out to be quite an adventure and it was here that i started to learn what subjects i enjoyed and those i didn't. I also started to take my studies seriously here and ended up in the higher ability classes (except PE, i hate exercise).
From my one job and various work experiences, i have learnt to be polite to customers and how to retain my cool in aggressive situations. I've also learnt how to be part of team after helping out the IT Department at my Secondary School and College during the Easter and Summer Holidays this year. My work experience during Year 10 also told me that a career in vehicle repair was not for me.
Into College i again picked subjects that i was really keen to learn about and left with an A-Level in History, a Cisco CCNA qualifcation and a Cisco IT Essentials qualification.
I have now landed at Anglia Ruskin University to further my knowledge and leave with a qualification that i can be proud to take to the workplace.

A very comprehensive learning line - always interesting to see the different learning backgrounds that people have had.
ReplyDeleteI had to edit out quite a bit becuase it was going way over the word limit, its still over at 250 words though.
